Why do I feel like this is always what happens before a team makes a big upset.

Sloppy end to the half to allow Penn State to cut the lead from 14 to 7. Seems like the ducks got a bit complacent.

Oregon playing absolutely abysmal defense. Tied game 49-49.

With 2 seconds left, if we get the inbounds someone should just throw up a shot from the backcourt and it will take up the 2 seconds

Scary scary way to win but a win is a win! This team played really good basketball for 20 min and really bad basketball for 20 min. Luckily the really good basketball was just enough for a 1 point win.

7 quad 1 wins now the squad after squeaking out this questionable finish. Definitely something the team is going to be practicing this next week will be late game scenarios and in-bounding.

Kudos to Barthelemy and Evans down the stretch! Road sweep is huge!

As fun as all these close wins are, I wouldn't mind them having an easy 6-10 point win a couple times.

That’s not the way this team rolls. No matter how good or bad a team is, they like to win it tight.

This would have been a bad loss with Baldwin being out, so glad we pulled it out! At first I thought Oregon was gonna walk away with a double digit win but I should have known better.
Great road series sweep! I was worried we would lose both so I’ll take it.
15-2 with this schedule might be the best Oregon start in my lifetime.

Observations from watching highlights. Someone fact-check me if the sample size doesn't represent what actually happened:
-pick n roll defense looked bad.
-cannot have Angel + another big on the floor at the same time. Not enough speed to match up with other teams' guards.
-Bamba looks athletically less impressive compared to earlier in the year.
-Bittle looks aggressive on offense. Great sign.
-our defense seems to have taken a big step backwards from earlier in the year. For a good 15-minute stretch, our defense was awful (end of 1st half and first 12 minutes of 2nd half). We looked lazy, undisciplined, and slow. It seems like it wasn't until the end of the game that our D finally picked up. This is the biggest area of concern, but fortunately, it be be solved...
-Shelstead's energy on both sides was infectious at the end of the game. Big time!
-Kwame seemed mentally checked out until the end of the game. He is such a crucial player for us. Need him to be at his best.
