I would say that Herbert saw the field but ultimately trusted exactly 1 person (Dillon Mitchell) to catch the ball. I don't blame him. The receivers were atrocious at holding onto the ball in those days.

so bad in fact we led the nation in dropped passes(50+ each year) for two years during Herbert's time here.

Easily the worst collection of skill position players at Oregon in modern history.
