Bittle and Tracey Granted Extra Year

It continues to be absurd that Dante didn't get his extra year, but if Bittle decides to stay, that will be huge given their lack of big men. Doesn't sound like he's made his mind up yet. Tracey apparently has stated he'll be back. Obviously, that news is not as big, but doesn't hurt to have that depth. Maybe he can take a leap forward over the offseason, as well. I've seen some improvements from him this year.

Still sucks that Dante never got an extra year when he more than deserved it. As for Bittle, I think it's probably 60/40 whether he returns or not. If he has a big March, I could see him leave for the pros. Oregon may have to give him a decent NIL deal to keep him. With Tracey, it can't hurt having some depth along the wings since they haven't recruited the HS or JC ranks much this cycle and will need to hit the portal hard.

I would hope that our NIL would entice Bittle to stay around and he may even really boost his stock even being an older player because he'd have a more refined skill-set in a league notorious for its inability to develop big men.

What is gleague compensation like compared to NIL?

I also wonder if he’d consider transferring to a school that’ll pay him the big bucks.

G-League average is only around $40K so Oregon could easily come up with more than that for him.
