Tracey also has a reduced role this year, seems like last year he was more of an emotional leader, I don’t see the same fire and leadership in him this year. Almost seemed like he wasn’t enjoying playing for Oregon as much.

Have seen some posts that Mbiya is "raw"....and I would encourage them to watch the film. He may be raw, but he'd instantly be one of the better big men in the Big 10 next year.

Rapp is headed to Wisconsin. Figures Oregon wouldn't get him with Evans and potentially Bittle coming back. Still need to get at least a couple post players from the portal or late signees.

Mookie Cook to San Francisco, I hope the fresh start reboots his career.

Very quiet on the basketball front with a lot of roster spots to fill……

Oregon is in contact with Maryland transfer Braden Pierce. Played only 5 games last year due to injury.

Braden Pierce, meh. He will be less useful than Supreme.
Really crazy how we haven't been able to snag a scoring guard. Letting someone like Dix go to Creighton and never even visiting us is mind blowing.

It's possible he wanted to stay close to home and never even considered the Ducks. Not much they could do about something like that. Not super high on Pierce, but they need size, and assuming Bittle comes back, it'll be tough to bring in a transfer center.UOducksTK1 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 1:36 pm Braden Pierce, meh. Wonder what price the Ducks are willing to pay in NIL $ between Evans, Shelstad and (if he comes back) Bittle?

I'm sure, I know Oregon coaches pushed hard to get him to visit before committing, but oh wells. We have a wide open starting spot at SG/SF position. Crazy we can't attract anyone yet. Lack of NIL is the only explanation...droop10 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 1:45 pmIt's possible he wanted to stay close to home and never even considered the Ducks. Maybe players aren't excited about flying on a plane nearly 30,000 miles each year.UOducksTK1 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 2:09 pmI'm sure, I know Oregon coaches pushed hard to get him to visit before committing, but oh wells.
