https://uwbadgers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=13158, My 1st choice for a starting big next year. She's already done well in the Big 18. We could also use an Erin Boley type, a spot up shooter would be nice to have. Nani Falatea has an extra year and hasn't decided if she'll use it yet

The girl from Oregon (Sara barhoum) coming in next year could fill that Boley role, as she set the record for 3 pointers in the state.duck92 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 27, 2025 3:49 pm https://uwbadgers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=13158, My 1st choice for a starting big next year. Considering the recent news that Graves finally started taking the NIL/transfers seriously is kind of not exactly good news.
So it meant he didn't make an effort before that? Would explain why it took until this year to finally get a Deja Kelly (star) type of player. It would confirm that he was what we all thought which was lazy on certain aspects of being a college coach...
His recruiting has also fallen way off, Janiyah is outside the top 50 on ESPN Hoops and Sara Barhoum is not even in the top100.
He missed out on #3 Jasmine Davidson from Clackamas.
Starting to doubt if his goal is to win a national title...

Re: 2025/26 WBB Additions/Subtractions
He used to be selective taking only a few really good transfers Minyon Moore, Rogers, Prince, Micksell to surround super high rated high schoolers. The new era he appears to only be looking for a few high schoolers and filling the team with transfers. What Altman has been doing for decades.
I don't know what his NIL resources are. The only big dollar one last year was Kelly and she was the last player added. USC in particular seems to have a huge budget. UCLA as well. Recruiting until the last 2 years was never Graves problem but like most programs retention of highly rated Freshmen is. The end construction of this years class will really tell us a lot about how he has adapted to the free agent era.
That said they need a big and a big and a bigger. Don't take a guard unless it is to replace one of the current ones transferring out or if a superstar becomes available. I'm surprised they are pursuing Guyton

Re: 2025/26 WBB Additions/Subtractions
TCU just pulled the biggest (probably most expensive) Transfer Pool player currently available. Olivia Miles, the guard from Notre Dame who was expected to be a Top 5 WNBA pick (many had as #2). Campbell is obviously a great recruiter but this one took some serious NIL from TCU as well.
I mention it because when Graves eventually goes any attempt to bring Campbell back will take a huge commitment from Oregon and its NIL powers.

A good guard that UCLA was very excited about...
Now we really need two solid posts. If a Jonquel Jones dupe is around somewhere, Graves needs to get sabrina on it as a favor

https://sjuhawks.com/sports/womens-bask ... egler/8713, She's rumored to be next. She'd be good at the 4, we'll still need a replacement or 2 at the 5

Nice first portal addition for Oregon in getting Cain. Almost wonder if they're too stacked at the guard and wing positions. Probably should expect at least 3 more additions to address the frontline.

Oregon looks like they'll be adding Fresno State F Mia Jacobs.

Oregon lands Washington State G Astera Tuhina. I know Graves said he wants to play faster but it seems odd to be adding so many guards and wings while still needing 1-2 more post players.

It wouldn't shock me, if Katie Fiso redshirts next year, her dad and grandfather passed away during the season and she might need some time away, to grieve and clear her head.

Re: 2025/26 WBB Additions/Subtractions
I don't know if Fiso is going to sit out or not but I suspect we must be going to lose some of the smalls with the signings of Cain and Tuhina as neither one looks like an upgrade to the existing 2 deep. Jacobs and the St Joe's Forward seem like no brainers. We really could use an aircraft carrier or 2 at this point.
