Bummer for ohio state transfer Devin Brown. I think JKS will do special things, but maybe not at Cal or in his first year.

I think it was Pate, maybe someone else, who I heard say something along the lines of "JKS was there long enough to know he wasn't beating out Dante" so its good that he was able to win the QB1 job.

When cal cuts football, maybe he will return to Oregon.

Haha would have been wild if he transferred after being named the starter.

Just have to say that JKS looked INSANELY good last night. I know that Oregon State is bad, but this kid threw so many dimes that his receivers just dropped. Cal would have boat raced OSU with better receivers. He was so good that I wonder if Cal might compete for the ACC title this season. A QB like that gives you a shot at beating anyone.

I started responding to come in and put some water on the fire to the idea of them winning the ACC, but after looking at their schedule it is not totally unreasonable. They miss Clemson and Florida State. Hardest games appear to be at home against SMU and on the road at Louisville. That's incredible.

OSU's offensive line, which usually has 1-2 future NFL players, is completely devoid of talent. Literally an FCS level of talent. It was sad to watch, as someone who enjoys when the beavers are competitive. So we'll see what Cal's defense looks like when they play Minnesota in two weeks.

He’s a baller

He wasnt really pressured all game but his deep ball and other throws were very accurate.

If he can continue making those accurate throws against pressure and better teams, then he’ll have a very handsome payday when the transfer portal comes knocking at the end of the season.
