Good for them. Secures funds and visibility for the new-look Pac-12. Hopefully they make a step up in camera quality and announcing teams. They'd already landed a deal with CBS, and maintain significant inventory to go out and find a streaming partner.
While they are likely to end up with significantly less money than the proposed AppleTV deal that was around $30M/yr per school, it's worth noting that they're going to have more games available nationwide through basic television than the old Pac-12 did and much more than if the AppleTV deal had been signed.

They're going to get up to $10 million per school, a sizable improvement over the MWC.

Watching WSU and OS, I seriously doubt anyone gives them a tv deal, once this one expires. They are basically glorified Big Sky teams.

They currently can't attract or retain talent. More money changes that, so kind of chicken and egg.

I honestly couldn’t belive the BIG 12 wouldn’t take them. Basically both got replaced in the power 4 by the Utah schools. They probably wish they hadn’t voted the Utes into the pac 10 now
