The midday slate is pretty weak so you're not missing much by being in Autzen stadium.

Week one was awesome, week 2 not so much. I'm interested in Mississippi State and Arizona though.

Oklahoma and Michigan looks to be incredibly overrated. Illinois State hung with Oklahoma on a down-by-down basis, but allowed too many explosive plays that a FBS team wouldn't allow. And on the Michigan side, I think New Mexico would have had a shot to win that game if they didn't get raided in the transfer portal and still had Devon Dampier and others.

I had a hard time picking that game, I went back and forth feeling like neither team is a true top 25 team. Ultimately I decided to go with the home field advantage.

SMU-Baylor is the game I'm interested in seeing this morning, followed closely by Iowa-Iowa State.

Remember when people were worried about the Iowa game? Same team as always. As long as the Ducks can manage to score 2 TDs, they should be safe.

Clemson down 16-3 at the half to Troy and Beavers are 5 in the 4th quarter.

I was about to whine about ASU getting pummeled by Miss St. and what a bad look that is for western football, but it looks like they are about to tie the game after coming back from 17 down. I was not looking forward to SEC shorts trumpeting that win, so hopefully the Sun Devils pull it out.
Edit: Never mind, they lost anyway. Good win, Bulldogs.

To every 5 star who thinks they should pick the team where they can start right away instead of being patient and learning in a quality system with quality coaches, see Bryce Underwood and Dante Moore.

I don't know the could personally, so I could be way off base here, but after seeing interviews and highlights of underwood, I got the sense that he was gonna go somewhere that allowed him to start immediately

Mississippi State beating ASU seems indicative to me of how conference realignment is almost more telling of success than anything about your individual program. That's a terrible program. Putrid. But they have a very healthy TV revenue share and a patch that says SEC and that allows them to accumulate talent at a level comparable to the best of the Big 12 and ACC. While NIL, transfer portal, and conference realignment has made things almost impossible for WSU, OSU, and many others, it could not have been kinder to schools like Mississippi State, Missouri, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Kentucky. Swap MSU and ASU and ASU becomes a potential national power.

I'm surprised you mention so many SEC teams. If anything, I feel like NIL shifts the pendulum to the Big 10 instead of the SEC. The SEC outside of Texas/Texas A&M and possibly Florida just doesn't feel like they have as strong of donor bases vs Big 10 teams.
This forum also knows ball. The games of interest you guys called up there were all close or upsets.

Cal QB is doing fine. I would also argue that nothing can replace real game reps. Even though Underwood played poorly, it's still good for his development (and he probably gets paid but I'm not smart enough to know what this does to his "NIL value" for next season).
