James Madison pulls away late and will be hoping for a Duke win to get them into the playoffs.
Tulane outlasted North Texas and very well could be making a visit to Eugene in a couple of weeks.

Texas Tech D is legit. Oregon will have a good test against them (assuming we get them).

Every time I head those comments about how it's hard to beat the same team twice in a season, I think about when we've played Utah and washington twice in the same season and the results were incredibly close to the same each time. This TTU vs. BYU team is the same story.
I think it's just hard to beat the same team twice when you're not actually better.

I'm a little annoyed that Alabama vs Georgia is in the primetime slot. It has the lowest stakes and features two teams who aren't major national championship contenders. Not a ton of reason to be interested beyond the brands.

Well then, if a higher ranked Georgia isn’t a major national championship contender, are you saying the Ducks aren’t either?
Any given Saturday.

National championship odds coming into the day:
Ohio State +165
Indiana +400
Georgia +800
Oregon +900
Notre Dame +1000
Texas Tech +1100
Texas A&M +1300
Alabama +1400
Ohio State and Indiana is the obviously bigger matchup. Georgia and Alabama would be like Oregon against Texas A&M; a good game but not your national championship favorites.

Looking more and more like the ACC will have an unranked 8-5 Duke win their conference championship…..

I got to the point of rooting for Virginia because I think they'd have a realistic shot to knock off Ole Miss (my presumption of the 6 seed), but not looking great. I also now am coming around to the belief that the committee might pull some funny business to put Miami in if Virginia doesn't win.

It would be total BS if a three loss bama team that just got blown out by georgia makes it into the playoffs.
It was absolute gold seeing bama go for it on 4 and 2 from their own end zone and deboers face after that failed attempt.

As much as I’d love to see Miami get left out I do believe they deserve it over both Notre Dame and Alabama.

James Madison coaches and players must be on the edge of their seats hoping Duke doesn't blow this.

I find myself rooting for Virginia and that’s only cause I think James Madison is a better team than Tulane. Ducks should be able to handle either team in Autzen but I’d rather see Oregon face Tulane in the first round while Ole Miss gets Virginia.
