Ducks are going to be without Shelstad and Bittle for an extended period of time. Season is officially in the toilet.

Wei Lin hits a three to beat the halftime buzzer and somehow Oregon is leading 41-40 at halftime. Lin, Evans, and Stewart are carrying them big time.

At least they played hard for the entire game. Just not sure how much longer Altman can get them to play that way as the losses pile up.

Good effort, but simply outmanned. Let’s see if they can make it a game against Michigan State on Monday.

-Altman confirms Shelstad is likely done for season
-Jamari Phillips was held out because he was late to practice/shootaround again. Kind of feels like Phillips is on his way out of the program eventually.

Definitely a good effort today. With Bittle, Shelstad and Evans gone after this awful season, let’s see if/how/when the Ducks open up their wallets moving forward with an open roster. Too bad those three, that the Ducks hierarchy decided to spend their wad on, produced nothing noteworthy, injuries notwithstanding, but duly noted. A few years easily, and justifiably forgotten, with the expectations based on the glaring NIL limited to mainly those three. Ready for a new generation, and hopefully completely new roster next year. Ducks need a fresh, new start. Coaches included.

Winning at halftime to a championship contender like a Michigan is a win in my heart.

I expected them to lose by thirty.
