QUACK! Kentucky G Jasper Johnson commits

Oregon has landed former top-25 G Jasper Johnson from Kentucky. He couldn't quite find a role at Kentucky but should find more consistent PT if he flashes the kind of upside that made him such a coveted recruit out of HS. He's basically low risk, high reward type who gives Oregon some added length and athleticism in the backcourt/wing.

If he's used as mainly a SG, he's got real potential. Last year, he had to be Kentucky's backup PG due to injuries, which Mark Pope said just didn't suit him.

A lefty, cool. Sounds like he dropped off a lot the second half of the season and had a terrible game vs Iowa State in the tournament. Hopefully Coach Altman can get him back on track. Seems like a decent shooter and passer. Hope he works hard in the offseason; I don't think the competition is going to be any easier in the Big Ten.
