Yes, we are already probably barely 15/16 seed. So if other teams in 16-22 range do good in the tournament, they'll probably hop a team who loses in the first round to a 25-31 team.OregonFan4Life wrote: Thu May 21, 2026 12:09 pm Is the game tomorrow night a must win to host a regional?

At least the game tomorrow is against another west coast team, so if they make it a 9:00 AM PST start time both teams will be equally impacted.greenyellow wrote:So tonight's game (along with Michigan/Michigan) have been postponed until tomorrow morning due to weather. 2nd straight year with weather issues in Omaha. Probably time to move it elsewhere.
Still pretty dumb for them to postpone the UCLA/Purdue game by 4 hours until later tonight when it's currently 70 and partly cloudy in Omaha right now. Complete buffoonery by the Big Ten once again. Oregon and Nebraska could potentially be forced into doubleheaders tomorrow if only the UCLA game gets played tonight.OregonFan4Life wrote: Fri May 22, 2026 1:05 pmAt least the game tomorrow is against another west coast team, so if they make it a 9:00 AM PST start time both teams will be equally impacted.greenyellow wrote:So tonight's game (along with Michigan/Michigan) have been postponed until tomorrow morning due to weather. 2nd straight year with weather issues in Omaha. If USC beats UCLA and Oregon loses to Nebraska I imagine USC would jump Oregon and we’d be less likely to host a regional, so for Oregon’s chance at hosting a regional UCLA is probably better. However if Oregon beats Nebraska today they have a much better chance against USC than UCLA, so I guess it depends on how much you value a safer route to hosting a regional compared to how much you value having a better chance at winning the B1G tournament.TheDrake wrote:Is it better for us if SUC wins or UCLA?
