So many good things to say about Oregon. Sounds like we smashed his expectations and are definitely a team for him to consider.
This weekend has made a big impression on all the recruits.

In my opinion, this is the recruit we must get in this class. He could play right away and be a great run stopper.

He has visited Oregon and Oregon State and has a visit scheduled with UCLA the second week of January. He doesn't know which schools he will use his final two official visits on. At this time his plan is to make his decision on Signing Day.

Man we HAVE to get this guy. He could start or at least be very much in the rotation from day one.

9.5 out of 10? Not good enough!
We really need this kid, our main problem this year has been the DT's.

Even if he does commit, there is a decent chance that he may go on a mission before coming to U of O. So, he may not actually contribute for a couple years. Would still be a great commit, but just tossing that out there.

Are you assuming he is LDS because he is from Utah or do you know for a fact that he is? Just curious because I didn't think he was.

Well it's a pretty safe assumption

Well I live in Utah and am not LDS

Did he really only give us a 9.5? In this day and age, that is pretty low....

It was discussed thoroughly on the Rivals board, so I believe he's brought it up in the past. At least that is my assumption.

Yes, Heimuli is LDS and at least for now plans to go on his two year mission after his freshman season.

I can't believe there aren't more d.t's out there trying to sign with us.
1. you can come in and compete right away
2. If we shore up or D-line this team would be next to unstoppable
Imagine if we have or offense and a defense that is constantly forcing 3 and out's. It's seems like the perfect storm!

That quote is taken out of context.
He said he gave it a 9.5 because he wasn't there long enough (laughing).
I'm pretty sure he meant it in a good way, like he wished he could stay longer to learn more..
