Brendan Sorsby granted injunction against NCAA

Will only have a 2 game suspension after a ruling from the district court in Lubbock County. College sports are a joke. At some point fans have to lose interest since it has become a game of who is the best at cheating.

At no point will any fan be able to truly trust that a game isn't rigged because of this.

The injunction doesn’t say the big 12 can’t block him from playing or that they can’t punish TTU

The pertinent question is whether you would support playing Dante Moore under the same circumstances. I'm guessing the answer would be no for almost all duck fans. Of course, Oregon has a competent backup, but that's part of the equation if you want to play with the big boys.

Texas Tech puts out a 20+ minute X post trying to defend this.
The story just gets better and better.
College sports is hot garbage.

Texas Tech might want to take into consideration that they're the problem, not everyone else

If they didn’t have Cody Campbell none of this would be happening

If Dante did the same thing, out, straight out. No place for this. It opens way too many worms of manipulating results.

Getting the backing of the AGs from Utah, Kansas, and Oklahoma is not a good sign for Texas Tech. They should really take the hint that playing Sorsby is a likely losing proposition but Cody Campbell and the leaders at TTU are too stubborn.

Now he's leaving for the NFL.

At least this is finally over and some common sense prevailed. Cody Campbell and Texas Tech are never going to recover from all the bad PR they got over this situation. Everyone just saw how far they were willing to go to win and break the rules. Campbell should be nowhere near the process of fixing college sports.

Nope. I'd have him off the team and packing his luggage. Big money

has wrecked this sport. I barely recognize it. It grieves me because I have enjoyed football for decades.
