At this point, I would say this was generous. Oregon has shown NOTHING this year to even deserve a ranking.

I beg to differ. Boise State is a darned good football team. We didn't play our best game against them, but we still found a way to win.

The Oklahoma State debacle was just that. They played above their heads and we were out if sync most of the game, allowing them to push us around when they had no business doing so.

I just hope we can shake it off, beat PSU and USC, and then see where we're at. We're not out of anything - yet, we've just put ourselves in a difficult situation, that's all.

Sometimes the better team doesn't win, that's all. There's still a lot of football to be played.

Silver lining…maybe…is that this one loss could do more to motivate the team than anything else.

Or we might just suck

Comical that Oregon is ranked. I don’t think there’s a power 5 team they could have put away on Saturday.

Horrid game prep by the staff. Top to bottom. Most disappointed I’ve been by the Ducks since the Cristobal Stanford debacle.

OSU was about what I expected - good QB, some explosive plays, no shortage of effort - but they gave up two pick-6s and Oregon both kept them on the field and killed their own drives again and again and again.

Miracles can happen (See ND post NIU), but Oregon needs a big one.

Yup the unpreparedness is baffling. Oregon should have lost by 30 points.
