Lyon Light Festival

Lyon is celebrating its annual "Fete des Lumieres" tonight and I highly recommend that you watch the video on the link below. They do such beautiful light projections on the buildings and some are also animated. The entire city lights up tonight, even residents place candles in their windows.

Beautiful stuff! Thanks for sharing. I liked the "evasion urbaine". That aquarium in the phone booth was awesome!

Yes, it is beautiful and I am glad that you enjoyed the clip. But, unfortunately like with everything else of this magnitude, it brings in throngs of tourists. The lights show runs for 4 days and there are millions of visitors in a relatively small space. Then there is the free public transportation where you get packed in tighter than sardines! This year we opted to watch in on youtube, too! Ü
