"that was like nothing I have ever experienced before"

"I have been to Michigan State and Michigan plenty of times and I didn't think it could get much louder than the 'Big House' but I guess you could say I thought wrong."

Looks and sounds like hes been a silent the whole time and will announce at the army all america game.

I'd be surprised if he didn't pick Oregon during the AAA game.

Boyd and others were "all Oregon" also. You never know with recruiting.

both his parents have been out, at least his dad twice and i think he gave it an 11 or something. distance won't be a factor both time they were showed a great time i think this kid is all oregon. michigan's going bowless and theirs been some negative stuff comeing out with rrod and michigan st just had nine players suspended so things are looking good i think in that perspective. miami could be a wild card maybe?

His offer list is incredible. Oregon could have two great corners with Harris and Mathis. Out of all the guys left that are interested in the ducks, Mathis is right up there for me.

The film of Mathis makes him my #1 defensive target for us.

Boyd and Brown never came out with parents. That's a huge difference, and honestly if parents don't care enough to visit the school with their kid, then how can we think the parent is going to sign off on their kid going 3000 miles to school.

I have said this before in recruiting and will continue to say it. I admire a lot of the parents and the love and dedication they have towards their kids... BUTTTTTTTT THEY need to let the kids make their own choices. Be there in support yes.. but only in support if they truly love their kids they will let them go where the kid wants to go. The Boud situation was ridiculous. The mom was more happy than Tajh Boyd was. Something totally wrong with that. As a parent you allow kids to make choices.. right or wrong they still have to have the independence to make choices.. it does not effect how much love them and want to see them. However as we have seen many times in recruiting the parents stick their nose in and force the kid to stay close to home and not allowing the kid.. to truly go where he/she wants to go.

it works both ways. if it wasn't for Diante Jackson's family, he probably wouldn't be here.
