Wow big news about the mariners getting the former cy young winner. It would be a great pickup for them. they are in the rumor mill seems like everyday. Jason Bay next maybe?

Lee wasn't so hot last year, but I'm sure he's still capable of a 18 win season.

Wasn't so hot last season, are you kidding me? The only numbers that don't look great are his Wins and Losses and that's because he spent most of the season with the Indians who were awful. I'll take a 3.22 era, 4.2 -1 k/bb ratio and a WHIP of 1.2 and 230 innings with 2/3 of your season spent in the American Leauge any day.

ERA wise, yes. But he had 14 losses last year. M's need wins, not great stats.

Ichiro and Figgins, Hernandez and Lee. That's a pretty good 1/2 pitching and hitting combo.

ERA wise, yes. But he had 14 losses last year. M's need wins, not great stats.

A pitcher's wins are one of the most misleading stats in sports. He has literally no control over the offense. It would be like blaming LMJ or Masoli for the Stanford loss, even though we only lost because Stanford ran all over our defense.
