1) Oregon RB Jeremiah Johnson – Looked great catching the ball out of the backfield. Has good speed and can cut on a dime. Would have liked to have seen Johnson get some more carries, but he had a solid game all the way around.

Good assessment...JJ did a great job with the chances he got!

I really think that he has the potential to be maybe a 3rd round draft pick, possibly a bit higher.

I believe his stock went up considerably due to that game, but showed skill all week leading up to the game. I've been reviewing his competition in the draft & don't see how they can choose a lot of these other guys over him. He's got better stats.

Albeit these are just people's opinions, but it's definitely apparent about the East Coast bias.

P.S. I never realized how early some of the RB's come out. Sophomore's?? I realize an RB's career is pretty short, but wow, never thought they came out that young.

yeah jj looked great as well as chung and unger I think they all helped themselves this week. I sure will miss the heart these guys played with. Why was reed not there?

A friend of mine's son lives in the same condos with JJ and he just gushes about what a great young man JJ is.

i'm pretty sure that by sophomores it means that they're redshirt sophomores as NCAA rules require student athletes to remain for 3 years before being able to declare for the draft.

He played in he Shrine game.

In comparing stats with JJ's competition going into the draft, his stats are pretty amazing considering he worked in a tandem with LGB. Does anyone know off the top of their head if any of the top rated RB's coming into the draft worked as a tandem? I can't think of anyone in the top 10 as I believe most of them were featured backs. Beenie Wells was mostly single, right?

JJ was awesome! He would have rushed for 100 yards easily if he'd had more carries. He showed off his quickness, speed and the fact that he can catch the ball really well out of the backfield.

Yeah, I noted that not all of the RB's stats revealed the number of carries and YPC for each of the players....Total yardage can be a significant stat, but only if and when its backed up by a decent YPC stat.......JJ didnt get 35 carries a game.....Alot of the others on the list, most likely did....

Watched the whole game and I was impressed at how well the Oregon players did. Chung made a lot of nice tackles, Unger usually dominated his man 1 on 1, and JJ was very good all-around.

Good to see JJ have success. I am not as confident in his NFL success as i was for J_stew, but i believe he will be a solid back up RB and potentially with some work a starter.

I bet the same was said for Sproles. JJ has spunk & a zest for life. He lights up a field. He comes out of nowhere & makes you miss. I don't ever remember one game where he didn't give 110%. If he had had a toe injury or something else, you would have never known it. I will miss him. He's the one that taught Snoop the stiff arm!

If nothing else JJ will get a great shot in the league because he's got the speed and moves to be a great return guy. This should buy him time, as it has for many others to make coaches realize how good he is
