This time last year we were 5-6, so I guess there's improvement. A much weaker Pac-10 will really help this team.

I guess, although this team still doesn't have a quality win. They also lost to Portland and Montana.

8-4 in OOC and then going 9-9 in conference gives the Ducks a 17-13 record. Not NCAA material.
9-9 will be a good season for this team in the Pac-10.
Oregon will need to go something like 12-6 or dare I say it even 14-4 to have a shot at the NCAAs.

Sadly, an NIT bid will probably save Kent's job.

I know the pac-10 is down, but 9-9 is easier said then done. They way we are playing now, I think 5-7 pac-10 wins is more realistic.Lord_Vader wrote:8-4 in OOC and then going 9-9 in conference gives the Ducks a 17-13 record. Not NCAA material.

Where are those wins coming from? The way we are playing right now we will get swept by Cal, WSU, Washington, Arizona, and Arizona State. Those 5 teams are playing MUCH better basketball than Oregon. I know things change, but Oregon is going to struggle to win 5 Pac-10 games unless something drastic happens in the next few weeks.

Wins over Stanford, Arizona, UCLA, USC, OSU at home, and we'll probably win a game or two on the road. I think 5-7 wins is a realistic outcome.northbeachsf wrote:Where are those wins coming from? Will this game be televised? maybe a dumb question since it's against Idaho State haha

I was wondering the same thing. It looks like the Blazer's game is on csn. So i don't think we will get to see this game. I am curious to see if Dunnigan can have back to back solid games. (even if they are against weak teams) It's a start!gregspechtismyhero wrote:Will this game be televised? maybe a dumb question since it's against Idaho State haha

Really 31-29 the Ducks leading Idaho State with 2 minutes to go til halftime? What a joke, hopefully the final score is bigger. I know a win is a win but Idaho State come on!
