Mathis Update

The No. 106 prospect in the ESPNU 150, defensive back Dior Mathis (Detroit/Cass Tech) is expected to decide between Oregon, Michigan, Michigan State and Miami. Mathis made an official visit to Oregon when the Ducks defeated Oregon State and came away very impressed. The Ducks have long been considered Mathis' favorite and the easy prediction says he goes with Chip Kelly and his Rose Bowl bound team, but Mathis has said he might surprise some people when he announces his college choice. I'll go with Oregon as the winner here, but if there is a surprise I think Mathis stays close to home and picks Michigan.

Yeah I was wondering what that meant. Hopefully with all this talk of him being and Oregon lock, he's just throwing some smokescreen to keep people on their toes..
