Do we have a shot with Anthony Jefferson?

Rivals has a little write up on him so I was curious if we had a chance? Any insiders out there want to shed a little light on it?

A 6-2 CB that runs a 4.5 sounds pretty appealing.

He's visited and we are in his final four. That's fairly promising. Nothing that I've heard or read makes me think he's a strong learn anywhere at this point.

Do we have room? Seems like the coaches have a pretty good idea how this class will end.

Well we are still recruiting him and Jefferson. So assuming Dior commits, we may even take another DB on top of that?

I thought we were recruiting him is a WR... I could be wrong.

Hmm, you may be right, but here is a recent update on him:

Initially recruited as a receiver, he’s now almost exclusively being pursued as a defensive back.
“Most schools want me as a DB,” said Jefferson. “If I could play receiver, I would, but I’m leaning towards the defensive side.”

5 star offer list.
At 6'2" he could be a receiver or depending how he fills out and bulks up he could end up a hybrid linebacker/safety in the Eddie Pleasant or Marvin Johnson mold.
1000 plus at 24 yards per catch should get you a good look at Wide Receiver if that is what he would prefer to play.
