Awesome! With that list, he could be a 5* player. He could even get to 6*'s if Washington offers.

Some stuff that didn't make the story.
Allotti and Kelly recently made a visit to his high school for a visit.
Is already committed to playing in the 2010 US Army Game
Will be 5* LB
Said he is a hybrid DE/LB that is ideal for the 3-4....

These write-ups have been very insightful. You're doing a really good job!
I also, love the little tidbits of info that didn't make the article. You should always include those types of things in threads later on. Makes me feel like an insider or something.

I find the interest in the 3-4 you speak of, especially with our #'s at DT and at LB suggesting that type of defense.

I though that too. I personally think we should go that way as more NFL teams are headed that way as well.
Maybe it would help with higher profile recruits.

I've heard from recruits defensively chosing Cal is they love the 3-4. Most recruits do.

Sounds like a great recruit. Oregon seems to be in on a couple of highly ranked LBs next year. I think that the coaches can look to the big-time recruits since we got enough depth to last a couple of recruiting seasons without getting top-level LBs. The coaches can also look to recruits that they feel need more development time, but could help Oregon down the road.

Wanted to suggest a little constructive criticism for MOPS and anyone else running the site, writing the articles, etc...
Maybe it's not your intent or what you want for the website, but if you intend on the site being taken seriously outside of us message board goons you might want to consider getting articles like this one edited before you publish them, I'm sure you could find a Jschool student who would do it for little or no pay (you could probably even call it an internship).
I don't read all the articles, but I know I've seen plenty of grammatical mistakes in them, and again, while it's not a big deal to guys like us just wanting our Ducks recruiting fix, little things like "line backers" (should be one word -- 'linebackers') seems to stick out like a sore thumb to those coming to the site looking for a high quality sports news site.
Just a thought... You guys do such a great job keeping us updated and interested in this stuff that I thought I'd suggest something that can help you guys out and improve this great thing you guys have going.

Sounds great mops, lets just hope he stays interested in us! I love his size for a middle linebacker (fills out to 250lbs) ala Rey M Part II!
GO DUCKS!!

Time to switch to the 3-4 Alliotti!!!! We've got some fast athletic LB's that i feel would flourish in that system!!!! I hope he's not afraid of change( alliotti ), because i feel this is the future defense!!!
