So what's left?

Here's a list of players that right now we have a shot at IMO. If I left someone out, please let me know. Here we go:
Marcus Lattimore - Looking forward to visiting Eugene. His dad is coming with him. South Carolina is the team to watch out for.
Lache Seastrunk - Word is he won't visit USC, which is huge for us. Ducks in the driver seat, but watch out for LSU and USC.
Dillon Baxter - Visiting Oregon as a QB. If things go well, he could make the switch from USC. Not sure about this one.
Ricky Heimuli - Might go on a mission, which makes me less excited. Utah is the team to beat. Oregon is still there though.
Keanon Lowe - Might depend on Huff. Huff is being recruited as a WR. If we get Huff, I have a hard time believing we get Lowe.
Christian Thomas - Likely Miami bound. Oregon is pretty stacked at TE anyway. But still worth keeping an eye on.
Owamagbe Odighizuwa - UCLA and Oregon on top with Nebraska luring behind. Gut feeling is not Oregon, but who knows.
Anthony Jefferson - Oregon leads, and I think we land him. Being recruited as a DB.
Erick Dargan - Oregon looking good here also. UCLA is really the only threat IMO.
Josh Huff - Rumors about him possibly decommiting TCU for Oregon. I believe he is being recruited as a WR.
Gabe King - Cal is in the lead with Oregon very close behind. I'd put my money on Cal, but Gabe is hard to read.
Bjoern Werner - Not much info on Werner, but all signs point to ducks being the favorite. Cal is right behind us.
Joe Hemschoot - Claims an Oregon offer, but with players like Baxter and Huff popping up, you wonder where we stand with Joe now. Colorado is the leader, but he likes Oregon.
Sione Potoae - Oregon still seems to be talking with him. Don't know much.

If I had to guess who we land.. Werner, Dargan, Jefferson, Seastrunk, Huff, and one of the 3 defensive linemen (owa/gabe/Ricky). That's 6, and if we strike gold, perhaps Latts or Baxter.

Any truth to the rumor about Potoae possibly giving us another look?

All I've heard is we have still been talking with him. I know nothing else.

So I guess it's possible, but I don't know.

wasnt huff a close friend of ethan grant's and part of the reason he switch to tcu? maybe that was someone else. but if this is the case, ironic.

I also thought that Huff was partially responsible for Grant switching to TCU.

Thanks for the update TK.

Now with the Kiffin news, I seriously doubt we get any USC recruits, the dude does and says whatever it takes to get guys. But the key here on offense is being able to sell Norm Chow and on D obviously his father.

I think in the long run, this will not work well for USC, but in the short term it does a good job of keep their recruiting class together.

I'll be happy if we get your predictions TK and that pretty much sums up my gut feeling as well.

It's too bad we probably can't get any of those stud D-lineman who were commited to Tenn, we're probably too far from SEC country to think about changing on such short notice.

OT - Take a look at how many of Tennessee's recruits are from Tennessee. And people question Oregon?

Not to worry really about Kiffin! Sanctions are coming hard on USC...Seastrunk is a lock to be a duck per inside source. Owa and King will be Ducks as well.. per source. Werner I heard also likes Ducks. I think things will look really well To finish out this recruiting class.. don't forget the DUCks went to the Rose bowl and there chances to win pac 10 title and possible shoot for a national title are there to reach...Oregon will be okay! :ugeek:

Where did you hear Lache wasn't visiting USC? If this is true, then it looks like he is a silent to Oregon.

Thats sweet to hear about Huff, I had no idea. And if your guess at who we end up with is even close I will stoked. Keep up the good work TK.

This thread is amazing...

The roller coaster of recruiting keeps going -- first Easley, we're all down, then Dior and Carroll leaving and we're all up, then Kiffin and co. move back in down the block and the sky is falling again.

AND STILL... a conservative estimate gives us a top rb, 2 more top DBs, a top DL and a top WR from out of the blue.

Says alot about how great of a roll we're really on!
