This article came out this morning. He is canceling his visit to USC and it doesn't appear he is going to reschedule. I hope this kid is a good as advertised because it looks like the Ducks have a real shot at him.

Sounds like Lache and his family have not been impressed with Kiffin and the character of his program at Tennessee, which is great news for the Ducks!

Good hear not just because he cancelled the visit but also his good judgement with Kiffin. After we've heard how immature he is, it really shows some maturity on his part to see through Kiffin's act IMO. Good news all around!

USC was thought to be our main competition for quite some time so this is an excellent sign. Auburn and LSU were thought to be the other schools he was considering but we haven't heard a lot mentioned about them for a while. Still, until he comes out and says he's a Duck, you can't completely count them out.

We will see. I hope he's a Duck, but Oregon has missed on top talent for two years in a row now. Pryor, Brown, and Boyd.

Lache will be a Tiger at LSU.. that is where is Girlfriend is attending! I thought he might be a duck I just believe he hasn't taken the USC visit.. which means its really down to 2 school Oregon vs LSU. and from what I understand I don't believe they are log jammed at RB. like we are.

I hope I am wrong....he is really close with his girlfriend and her family! We'll shall see come 2/3/10

So then, we can expect you to change your avatar if in fact Lache Seastrunk doesn't commit to Oregon?

You can bet on it I will change my Avatar if he chooses LSU since its down to us and them!

He'll commit to Lsu and then a couple of months later will be breaking up with his girlfriend. Lot's of other pretty girls in college to tempt him. Happens a lot

I thought he was making his decision before signing day? His quote from the article at the top of this thread says he could be making his decision very soon.

ksmack, has his gf been attending LSU for very long? I ask because most of the insiders had Auburn as the early fave. Then it was LSU for a while until one of their coaches left for Memphis. Then USC was said to to be the flavor of the month; then Oregon moves into a tie w/SC after he visits here. The next movement is LS cancels his SC visit and many start to say we lead, even with a few saying he's a silent to us. Now you come along with gf & family angle. So, if gf has been at LSU for a while, and they never stopped recruiting him, why hasn't he been more public about them? Why haven't the collective insiders (not just here, but Rival's mainboard folks, etc) been harping on LSU as his likely destination, etc?

According to some he canceled his visit because SC stopped recruiting him, believing he doesn't fit a pro style offense.

it's because neither he or his family like Kiffin, and that's why it was canceled almost immediately after Kiffin was named head coach.
