Not sure if this has been posted yet, but #22 is pretty impressive with only 16 commits. Lol @ Washington being behind us with almost twice as many commits.

Yeah Florida is killing it right now, but I'm stokes about what's coming to our team this year. Just need to close strong and we will be in good shape next year.

I t should create some insane competition on the practice field, but realistically, as many high level guys as Florida is getting could be like a chemical dump... The potential for toxicity is huge.

Having a couple of that level of player for a school like Oregon seems to be a recipe for success.

I noticed that rivals didn't include drew howell in their total of recruits. anyone know why? i know he's just a Long Snapper but still. Is he not on schollarship or something?

Florida with 16 on the ESPNU 150, has to be a record.

And I thought the Urban Meyer fiasco would hurt this recruiting class...

It's pretty easy to recruit when you have won national championships and you are located in a warm state that has some of the best high school talent. Plus it makes some of these kids decisions easy to go there when you know that you can gouge another players eyes out and drive drunk and not face much of a penalty. I think that is what makes Oregon, Utah, Boise State, etc. so impressive is their location, etc. and the difficulty of luring top talent yet still being able to compete at a high level. The Florida's, USC's, Oklahoma's, Texas's, etc. should be going undefeated every year with the talent and resources they have.

the UW ranking provides an interesting contrast between Scout and Rivals. They are in the top 10 on Scout. It's amazing what having the two primary west coast scouts (huffman and fetters) as UW homers will do.

Yup. Doesn't do them any better on the field, though.

We are currently #14 in average stars. That will probably increase in the next 2 weeks.

If we shouldn't look now, when should we look?

Good observation. AJ over at Rivals/DSA says that Howell is indeed a Duck commit. He said he's been waiting to see if he gets re-evaluated, thus a higher amt of stars. Right now he's a 2* and will probably stay that way. He'll certainly be on the list by 2/3.

If we are this high right now, take a look after signing day.. A top 10 finish is possible considering we could take anywhere from 3-8 players and all our recruits left on our board (except one) are 4 stars or 5 stars.
