Kent needs to realize that Porter is not the man.

Tajuan Porter is a great player. Cant argue that, but he is a great player that needs to come off the bench and if the shot is there, hit it. If not, pass it. He doesn't need to drive to the hoop, he only gets swatted. The problem with this is that Kent swears that this is Porters team. He has said that from this summer and leading up to the season and he still says that.

All of Kents teams that are productive have one thing in common. And that is a true point guard. If this team is going to be successful this season, Kent needs to realize that he needs to let Malcom Armstead lead this team. He has the speed and size to be a great pac-10 PG. Porter is only good when he has open shots and not pressure to lead the team. He needs to come off the bench and be in the role of that of James Davis. A great pure shooter who came off the bench and gave the team a need boost when needed.

Malcom can get to the rim when he wanted. He has a great pull up jumper and has good vision. He is an emotional leader and when the game is on the line, or a shot needs to be taken. Malcom has the ability to get his shot off. Porter just dribbles and dribbles and dribbles and, well you get it.

And what is LeKendric Longmeir doing? As I sit here watching the Cal game. Everytime he gets the ball he shots? I dont think he's made a shot yet. He is a defense guy, not a scorer. I'll be the first to admit that when the team was playing the Arizona schools, he was the only one showing any heart of desire. But this is just ugly.

But let this be known. I will always root for my Ducks. I will not get off the Bandwagon. I will not be one of those "fans" who leave the game early. And I will not burn my tickets! That is just stupid and that guy needs to be banned from all Oregon athletic events. ha. Because I LOVE MY DUCKS!!!!!!!!!
