The guy is an interesting player. Coming out of high school, he was a 4 star prospect. He played his freshman year at the University of Georgia, but was granted a medical hardship by the NCAA (played on 6 games due to a foot injury). It appears that most see him as a SF, but Ernie likes to go small. Jacob is quick and has a great touch around the basket. His defense seems pretty solid too. The other question is, can Jacob play with Jamil Wilson? Jamil is one of the most talented players on the team and likely the team's starting SF for the next few years.

He's becoming our biggest offensive threat. He's a little undersized, which sometimes hurts him defensively with match ups against some bigger/more athletic PFs, but definitely not a liability on D like Porter.

Love the fact Ernie is actually playing him. That's definitely contributed to our success. Hopefully that opens it up for Dunigan to get more Offensive rebounds and getting his own looks.

Its kinda amazing that we won last game with Dunigan having only 2 points and 2 rebounds, Jacob was good enough to pick up the slack...and it seemed like when we needed a shot, somebody came through with one.

Jacob's 6'7 with a good frame and his skill set is more favorable as a PF. Jamil is more of a wing-orientated player capable of playing around the 3pt line and fits well at SF. They are playing together, and will continue to. Singler is a guy that can come off the bench and play either position - more natural at SF, but a good enough rebounder and smart enough defender to play the 4 spot in our offense as well.

The question is: Can Jamil play with Jacob? The answer is Yes, Jacob is the PF, Jamil is the SF.

And, Jacob appears to be the best scoring post player on our team...... easily, esp. since Joevan has been injured.

Dunigan and Jamil still have a LOT to learn. The beauty is, they are both still very young and will be GREAT P10 players in 1-2 yrs.

Even if did make it back, I don't see how much would contribute since he would take minutes from others and that may throw off the rotation that Kent found works.

Catron is not good, he is what 6'7" and cant dunk, he is not a starter in my book

He can dunk, but only if he gets a breakaway, which is rare for him. I remember him dunking a couple times early in the year and a couple more last year.

Agreed. I dont even think he is that tall. He is like the posts version of Porter. If he gets going offensively he's decent. But when he's not on, all he is, is a defensive liability. And a turnover waiting to happen. The ducks have played their best bball when he isnt on the court.
