6'2.5/190/4.55 WR out of Marist has Oregon high on his list, but no offer...

All things considered, there may be room for him.

Yeah, anyone seen him play? I wonder why he isn't getting offers?

Seems to have decent size and very good speed for a larger guy.....Let us all know if you are able to find anything interesting on the kid..Stats? quality of play? or whatever.....
Gotta love the local kids....Should make it easier to obtain, if they are a quality player, worthy of a look.....

Pretty solid numbers but not the strongest competition.

If it looks like the kid can play, I'd say offer him. IMO if we want the top talent in the state to stay in state and be Ducks we should also be willing to offer some of the local kids that could be solid but unspectacular players. We want loyalty from in-state kids so we should show a little as well

Really? I doubt that. My guess is that not a lot of people have seen him play, or he doesn't get a lot of love because of the lack of talent in Oregon.

Ok, cool. If that's true though, that means the talent level in Oregon has to be the worst of any state. This guy led the state in receiving yards and touchdowns, didn't he? Maybe the competition sucked, but that's still impressive.

He's listed as a 2 star on Scout... His grades are evidently good enough that he is considering Stanford.

Even if he is a walk-on or at best a project, it might be worth it to offer and elevate the academic standing of the team while potentially getting another sleeper, IMO.

You can bet the Oregon coaches have seen him play, considering he goes to high school in Eugene. They haven't offered him yet (nobody else has either), so that shows where they feel he ranks in the pecking order. It would be nice if he tried to walk-on.....that is always a no-lose situation for the Ducks.

I played in the sky-em league and the competition is awful. When the record shattering running back in your league is only good enough for portland states bench then you know where you stand.

Alright, oh well!!!! I would hate to see him turn into Mike Haas, who didn't get a single offer and walked on at Oregon State.

Haas put in a huge amount of workto get where he ended up with OS.

It would be great to get more players committed to that kind of effort on a regular basis.
