lol I have that game on VHS. I think I've watched the Wake Forest-Oregon game like 20 times.

its quite amazing watching the UNLV game, that team was reckless...literally, there was no reigns it was rebound throw it to someone or run up court pass the ball and shoot, we play too deliberate, that team had 5 players who could bring the ball up the court if necessary, and a sixth off the bench in Catron, not to mention all of the starters could shoot the three. It is massively entertaining to watch, but a dominant post game can be as well with the correct coach....

I watched the UNLV game. I liked those jerseys, nice and simple. The ones we have know are pretty gross.

Anyway, the talent level from this years team to the Elite 8 team is not even close.

Brooks/Porter/Bryce/Malik/Marty
compared to
Porter/Armstead/Singler/Jacob/Dunigan

still Catron was a contributor on that team :) seriously though, we ran all the time with that team, make or miss we were rushing down the court....I think we play too slow, and that exposes ourweakness, an inability to get open shots in the half court. Honestly, watching that game is gonna make it really tough to watch the games the rest of the season...I just want more of that 07 team

Porter and Catron were actually good back then...

I think mainly because they knew they didn't have to carry the team and weren't going to be needed to get 10+ppg. The leaders on that team were 4 players who are playing pro ball (NBA or overseas). Right now I don't see any players are going to be playing pro ball at any level.

Not of Kents here next year. If we get a real coach I could see a few of them getting to the league. Dunigan & Wilson for starters. All the physical tools you could ever want but no idea how to even play the game.
