I'm new to the boards and new to recruiting (but got sucked in as I'm sure the rest of you are) and I have a question about 2010 visits, and future classes in general.

When someone who isn't a senior visits, does it count as an "official" visit? If not, is there a set number of "unofficial" visits someone can take? Is it pretty common for Juniors to visit colleges before their senior seasons even start?

Unofficial visits don't count, but the university can't pay their way to come out...they have to pay their own way

Each recruit has a total of 5 officials they can take. Unlimited unofficials.
