Anybody got any ideas on back-up plans in case we whiff on Hall, Gaines, Jackson, & Brown? Heck, if we get 2 out of the 4, we'll probably toss a schollie to the Ellis Krout of 2009. Of course, we could always talk about 2010 recruits

.

For 2009 class, 6'1/200/4.60 QB/ATH Steven Littleton and 6'4/225/4.60 WR Andre Dixon both out of Madison HS in NE Portland. Both are great talents, but neither are on any recruiting databases. Most likely due to being in the weak 5A PIL conference. Hopefully both can walk-on.

So who is going to be that surprise on LOI day. We always seem to get one.

i played with littleton at Wilson before he transferred to madison great athlete, had issues with off the field stuff at Wilson thought. i don't know if he is D-1 talent though. cause i played against players better then him and they didn't get D-1 offers.

Yea I know that he had a few off-the-field problems his JR year at Madison, but I think he cleaned up this year. I don't really expect him to get any big-time offers, however he could be a walk-on canidate for us because he fits the mold of our desired QB's and can line up all over the field.

I dropped off a highlight DVD last week for Chris Lawlor OT/OG + Short Snapper / 6'6" - 265 out of San Diego. An '09 totally off everyone's radar. He didn't play his junior year but had an outstanding senior year. His snaps are perfect bullets time after time. I watched Benyard play this year and Lawlor looks as good. Probably a name that arrived to late for a scholie. In any case we may be stocked on the OLine.

Personally i would rather see us hold schollies for next year because we have a lot of interested talent, rather than just fill up on average talent at best. We'll see what happens on wednesday though, hopefully we get a couple of nice surprises.
