I'm sick of Duke. I like coach K, but that turncoat Singler should have stayed in the state and played for the Ducks...

So close. Great effort by Butler. Now it's time for Oregon throw the bank at Brad Stevens. He probably won't take it but it's worth a shot. Offer an 8 year/$2.5+ million contract

He was smart to go to Duke, he just won a Championship and was MVP of the tournament. Nobody would know who he was if he went to Oregon.

yea, agreed with great effort on offense and defense. They almost gave Duke heart attack on that haif court shot before game's over. How cool will it be if it actually went in? It will be crazy wild finish for bulter <----

Singler and Love where recruited at a time when UO was in turmoil. Back to back bad years doomed any chance we had with them, and even then I know people close to Singler, and he still had Oregon close. What I was told was if UO had be in the tourney the two years prior, he very well might have been a duck, so thank your boy EK. Kyle was a huge fan of Luke Jackson.

^^+1^^. I fully expect him to head to the NBA this year since he is very close to having enough credits to graduate. His family is pretty stern on their kids getting their degrees.

That Butler coach is the real deal. Loved the way his team played throughout the tournament. So discipline, yet very tenacious on the defensive end.

On the local portland news, KGW was reporting Oregon is going after Stevens right now. Doubt they know all that much, but that'd work. Similar style to Pitt actually. But the real question is would he come to Oregon? He's got a great thing going at Butler and 4 of his starters return..

I think the local media is just throwing things out there and hoping something sticks

According to
www.hoopcoach.org....
CONTRACT TERMS: After coaching Butler into the second round of the NCAAs last season, Brad Stevens was awarded with a contract extension through the 2014-2015 season. The terms of the contract were not disclosed, although he likely is earning close to $900,000 in base salary.
