Isn't a total shock since it's been rumored for a couple days now and we could all see it during the season once he stopped playing major minutes.

I actually thought the firing of EK was going to keep Crittle here. They looked like they were at odds and Crittle even got in his face during a game last year and basically never saw the floor again for extended minutes.

My bet is that him and Humphrey transfer to schools in the Midwest to be closer to their families.

As long as we don't lose anymore, I'm fine with trading in these 3 players and Kent for a new coach.

Crittle and Wiley almost never played, so those losses won't hurt. Losing Humphrey sucks, but like the poster above said, if this is it, then that's fine. We just need enough bodies for next season.

Crittle still may be back next year. He just got his release so he can check out some schools & have a place to go if he doesn't like who we hire or the coaching search continues to go badly. He said he hasn't made a decision yet.

Mops, per Twitter, is hearing that Crittle will more than likely be leaving for UCF (Central Florida).

It's on his facebook, that's what Matt said and a guy on educk. Good luck to him, of the 3 who are leaving he was the one I wanted to stay the most. Getting Nared though probably sealed his leaving. Also it sounds like Altman is confident that Catron will get another year, so I don't know realistically how many min a game Crittle would see at UO.

If Catron does make it back, I sincerely hope it is a very healthy, fit version.

The injury prone version has severely limited the contribution Joevan has been able to provide this team.

I believe Duck fans would love the spark he has occasionally brought to this team when healthy, and Altman may well be the coach to get the most out of Catron's talents.

Crittle had some decent minutes his freshman year and seemed to have fell out of favor with Kent during the sophomore season.

I think him leaving the program is a bigger lost than people think.

Big men take a little longer to develop and EK was terrible when it came to utilizing them.

If Dunigan leaves after his junior year..... we wont have a true big on the roster.

With Crittle leaving, there will be 4 scholarships open for the 2011 class, which can only help since the 2011 class is supposed to be really deep. Hopefully Altman can round up a couple post players and some shooters.
