Portland is actually good, and the ducks will probably have their 4th or 5th starter pitch in this game.

Portland's always good. They really beat the tar out of us last year, I'm sure the players would like to return the favor.

Wonder who will start tomorrow. Kuedall pitched what... an inning on Sunday? Since Thornton took his Sunday job, AK could logically slide to mid-week starter (and started out this year as a mid-week starter, beating Washington). They could always go with the Joey Housey/Madison Boer combo that shut down OSU last week.

a FYI on Portland, they are currently 30-9 on the season and getting votes in all the polls. Should be a good test...

Portland always seems to have good pitching and are very competitive with Pac-10 teams.

This guy just has our number. Great movement on his pitches. Hopefully we can get to the Pilot bullpen or something.

Hopefully the Ducks can sweep the Beavers this weekend so they don't drop in the polls....... or come back and win this one........ or better yet, do both!

Mid-week out of conference game with a tough opponent facing our #4-5-6 pitchers. Not a bad outing considering...
