Good read on Altman

Which brings us back to the markings on the practice floor, just beyond the three-point line. Those X’s mark the spots Altman expects players to find for proper spacing on fast breaks. And also, during halfcourt offensive sets.

Get there, or prepare to get blistered.

“Literally a foot is the difference between him chewing you out or patting you on the back,” says Nick Bahe, a former player who is now a radio talk show host in Omaha.

Or maybe, between chewing you out and then patting you on the back.

I like this

I always had the impression that Ernie Kent was a "players" coach.

Altman isn't going to be that way....... I hope these kids are ready to put in some hard work

How about he always blames himself for losses. Now that will be different and refreshing.

they say he will spend countless hours after a loss looking at
film and figuring out what went wrong and what he can do better.
He doesnt take it out on the team only his self. He is flexible in his
game plans. will adapt to what needs to be done to win. I like this guy.
I think the team will do well with him in charge.
