Sallie would be a great pickup since he's doesn't have to redshirt and SG is our weakest position. I love Teondre Williams, but Sallie would most likely be an upgrade at SG. I think this would be similar to the track athlete who came to Oregon for his final year of eligibility after graduating from Stanford.

He wouldn't be a bad pickup but he wouldn't be available until the 2011-2012 season. By that time, Altman could get some good players since there will be 4 open scholarships after next season. I think Sallie would be a last ditch option if Altman can't fill up from the 2011 class. Sallie would just add to the already big JR class since they would be SRs by the time he got here.

It does seem as if I misread the article. He's graduating this August, not next August as I thought it stated so he would be available this coming season. I would be for it now.
