Seems as if he is just trying to cover his bases until he makes his final decision. I sure hope he goes to Kentucky over Washington. I don't want to see him play against Oregon.

Terrence Jones made his final decision Wednesday evening.

Jones' high school coach -- Pat Strickland -- confirmed that Jones picked Kentucky just minutes after getting off the phone with Jones' mother -- Linda Mashia-Jones.

"Glitz and glamour," Strickland said when asked why he chose UK. "It's Kentucky. Kentucky the program, the history and I think how good the freshman have done this past year helped as well."

Lol. I take back what I said about UW going to the Elite 8 next season. Just checked out Jones' facebook and there are bunch UW fans expressing their anger. The best part is seeing some of the UW fans trying to pick fights with the Kentucky fans

Have you guys ever seen that show "softy" on Comcast? That fat wimp is the biggest husky homer on the planet.. He did a whole show on How kentucky is the most UN Ethical school in the would and they bullied or bribed Jones away from the huskies!!
It was funny, his fat ass was about to have a heart attack on air he was so mad about it!! He was throwing a fit almost ready to cry, It made my day!!!!!

Bottom line is TJ never signed a LOI, he's an 18 year old kid, he doesnt want to disappoint anyone, he made the best decision for HIM... all the people giving this kid crap need to check themselves (Im looking at you husky fan)... If you have an offer from UK, you take it.

On Mops twitter, there is a note per Yasir Rosemond that Jones was set to come to Oregon before Kent was fired. As much as I would have wanted Jones to be a duck, I think it will end up working out well for both parties. Also, I don't get why a recruit like Jones cannot seem to realize that the team might be better without Kent. Maybe Jones and Kent had a great relationship, but isn't the ultimate goal to win and have a chance to play in the NBA?

This team would have been damn good if we have kept Kent and landed Jones and others this year.

I'm sure every other assistant coach that was recruiting Jones thought the same thing. He was coming here just like he was going to UW.

True. Besides, I don't think one recruit is bigger than a coach, no matter how good the player is.
