How about a position on staff if the NFL doesn't work out?

From what I have heard, Brown is a bigtime sleeper and the only reason so many schools cooled off on him is academics. Suppose to have a great work ethic and play with a lot of heart.

I hope the NFL does work out for Reed, but that is a good idea either way. That kind of energy and excitement are very contagious and it would only help to have him on board I think.

I've always felt the same about Joey. When his career is over in the NFL, I want him back at Oregon in some fashion, preferably on football staff.

Joey was definitely that way, moreso in my opinion.

You also have to mention Kellen Clemens doing the same after he was injured.

Hey Sickaduck, if this board is read by recruits trying to decide if Oregon is a good place to go (i.e. D. Jackson) then get that Autzen/snow signature of yours out of here!!!!!!! Just kidding

Speaking of Dixon, he's got a Superbowl ring already! There was a brief interview of him in Monday's Oregonian. It talked about that being a nice consolation after coming up short last year because of the injury.

Another good reason for him to eventually land on the coaching staff... Showing a recruit the ring can't hurt a coach's credibility.
