At least one maybe more basketball recruits visiting this weekend?

I wonder if they are still for this class? I'm assuming that Sallie is one of them.

He did say Sallie was visiting in June so it fits, but maybe Altman has found a couple other recruits that are interested.

If true, not the best timing for Altman to be doing a meet and greet at Spirit Mountain Casino in Lincoln City. I thought it was an odd place to start with.

Big visit. He's the type of player that could change this team from a last place team to a little under the middle of the pac.

He's also the type of shooter that Altman wants.

Ugh...wonder if Masoli getting booted will influence his decision. Hope not. IMO, getting Sallie is the difference between finishing 4th or 8th in conference play next season. We have a new coach, but still don't have a "go to" player that can consistently score the basketball. Sallie is certainly capable of that for this team and would be the key piece to making a big improvement next season.

I don't think Masoli will affect Sallie's decision. He's got his stuff together, while Masoli will probably never.

Sallie would definitely be a difference maker. I'm really hoping that he ends up at UO.

I could see him being a starter as soon as he gets here. He would easily be the most talented guard we have.

Any news on Sallie?

I was wondering about Sallie too. The only reports I see are from a month ago and rumor him to be headed to Kentucky or Europe. We saw the other recruit in Eugene with Coach Fish last Friday (before he went to WSU). No word on him either.

I think Sallie was also considering UCLA and another West Coast team so he's probably scheduling more visits.

Any updates on this? It's been over a week, so I'm surprised we haven't heard anything.
