I think anytime you get a head coach to be an assistant at your coach is a good thing. Sure that problem means he wasn't too successful as a head coach, but the experience is a big plus and should only be a positive addition to this team.

Since he has a history with Altman, he knows the style that Altman wants to play and will be a good disciple of it when coaching the players. I wouldn't be surprised if the last spot is to Rosemond or someone else that has been an assistant with Altman over the years.

He took over a terrible program and brought them their first winning season in 8 years. That's not that bad, look at all the people sucking up to Robinson at OS for just winning 13 games. He and DA are good friends and I bet he got him a contract about the same as what he was making at ISU.

I think he's actually going to make less the first year due to Oregon having to buyout his ISU contract but his salary will increase to more than what he would have been paid at ISU.

him before.

Because of his up beat attitude, and his understanding of Altman's system, McKenna's nickname, in some circles, is "Altman with a personality".

It's the same system McKenna used to get that winning season...
