Certainly appears that he is. Rumors from Louisville and Indiana although neither school get him closer to home.

As weird as it sounds, considering Sallie will ostensibly graduate Memphis in August, it appears he was having difficulty qualifying academically, and did not visit.

Per Mops, he's headed to Louisville. Too bad as he could have really helped us this year.

Wasn't his reason for not returning to Memphis to be closer to his family in Sacramento, CA? Instead he moves even further away. Further proof that he might not have qualified academically with the Ducks?

Louisville is a good school. I doubt he would fail to qualify here, but get into L'Ville.

Actually believe it or not, but that's exactly what mops said. He has some classes that UO wouldn't except.

What kind of junior college operation is Memphis running?

The same kind that took Justin Thompson, when he couldn't get into UO or any other school out west.

Memphis is still not that great of an academic school so I could see why Oregon's admission board wouldn't allow him in. When all you are known for is basketball, it's pretty much certain that you aren't that strong of a academic school.

Louisville? I thought it was crucial that he play closer to home. The fact that he has gone from team to team and then does this makes things seem kind of fishy.

Still seems strange. I've known Mops for 8 or 9 years now and I'm not questioning him, but rather the transfer process. Memphis may be a crummy school (tier 4, I believe?) but Louisville is not. L'Ville is on par with Oregon State. They aren't Cal-Berkeley, but they aren't clown colleges, either. I'd be really interested to know what Oregon rejected, but Louisville was okay with. Though I'm sure we'll never know for sure.

Oregon has been known to reject certain on-line classes in the past... That was one of the main bones of contention in the qualification (Or rather, the lack thereof) of at least one of the 5* DT recruits the Ducks signed over the last few seasons.

Oregon has always been archaic when it comes to online courses. The one thing Oregon State runs circles around the UO at.

Really stinks about Sallie. He would have been a great pickup.

Actually, Louisville is a pretty mediocre school. They just brought in former Michigan football recruit Demar Dorsey who had a 1.9 GPA, who had previously been denied admission due to academics and his prior criminal record.
