Anyway, Westview was my high school, and I've actually played against Austin many times at our rec center and stuff. He's pretty soft overall, and like to always settle for the jump shot instead of using any post moves.
Overall, I would say he is NOT pac-10 material. However, he definitely has upside. I think if a coach worked with him, he could be a decent player. Too be honest though, seeing us go after players like Austin scares me, because he isn't worth of an Oregon offer in my eyes.
Hopefully he has a strong senior year and proves me wrong.

Judging a player off how they play at a rec center isn't always the finest way to determine how they perform against similarly skilled players in a competitive environment. We're going to need some size and with Wiltjer dropping us, we gotta look at alternatives.
There really don't seem to be a lot of 4-5* prospects at PF/C available west of the Mississippi.
6'9"/225 3* C prospect Kevin Johnson, out of William Howard Taft HS in Woodland Hills, Ca, is an intriguing possibility, but, to my knowledge, has no offer at this time..
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

Right now probably isn't the best time to be needing some men, but it has been always a trick to get find talented big men that actually has solid skills. Oregon has Jacob and Dunigan together for another couple years possibly, but Altman will definitely need to find some big men within the next 2 classes to get the depth back up. A more pressing need is to fill up the backcourt and wing depth since that's what we lost so much of.

*worthy, yeah same. However I think Altman will go with a couple players like Kuemper who are meh, but he'll still get some nice pick ups. Heck, Loyd was a nice commit.
Anyway, an article on Kuemper:
"I know I don't have an offer from them but if and when they offer me a scholarship I will commit right then and there," says Kuemeper. "Oregon is the school I want to play for and is the school I feel is the best fit for me." http://duckterritory.com/basketball/rec ... -be-a-duck
