I remember what a somber feeling last signing day became when Tommy Streeter and Aaron Boyd stuck it to us by staying close to home and Jamar Jarret shocked us by decommiting to ASU. This year I got a whole different feeling on signing day with the addition of Diante and hopefully Gaines (fingers crossed), not to mention all our commits sticking by their words and signed their LOI's today. We met our primary needs of DT, WR, CB, and Special teams players so way to close it out coaching staff.

I guess the coaching changes didn't hurt recruiting as much as it looked like it would

I like the use of the "Close". The staff did close. Great job!!!

I agree. We got the players at the positions we needed to. We also got few more athletes on defense than we normally do. I'm satisfied with this class. If we land Gaines it just adds another playmaker to the group.

And I think he have quite a few players that were probably under-rated for various reasons and could really turn out to be nice steals.

Get Gaines/Brown and I'm happy.

Closing would be getting Tuinei, Gaines into school and then bringing Bryce Brown to the O.

Ageed. That makes this a top 15-20 class & just a good as any class we've gotten. The class as it is now, without Tuinei & Gaines, is good but not great. Bring both those guys in, get BB & it's a great class.

With one of the WR's and give or take BB I am pleased with this class however.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I really like this class, especially the sleepers like Hawkins & Cole. I just don't think it can be considered great or along the lines of the last two, until we get at least 2 of those 3 guys.

I don't think right now this class looks like much but you never know how this class will develop. They could easily develop into one that contributes down the road in a very important role. This class would be great if Gaines and Tuinei are both academically cleared. The class would be on a whole new level if Brown does decide to come here.
