Go watch this guy play on youtube, a very silky, smooth player.

He would be a huge get. I don't like that he is going to visit Kansas though.

That worries me a bit with him. Maybe Horton can talk with him about possibly playing baseball also.

Wonder how Garrett gets along with Jonathon Loyd?

And Garrett is ranked # 51 in Rivals 150...

St. John's...really? I know that he's a great recruiter, but the guy is a pretty mediocre coach. Baron Davis absolutely hated him. Also, who wants to go to college in Queens...

Not sure why he'd be considering SJ when has offers from Georgetown and Arizona.

Maybe he wants to play with Dwayne Polee, the high flying forward who flirted briefly with the Ducks immediately after the hiring of Altman.

I would rather live in New York city than Tucson.

Queens really isn't all that far from Manhattan so it's not like he's stuck in the middle of nowhere, like Tucson is in Arizona.

I've never been to New York, but I've been to Tucson several times and it's actually really nice there. There are over 500,000 people there and a lot of things to do. Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney even owns a house there.

Just sayin'. :)

also keep in mind St. John's is a commuter school, alot of their students live in Manhattan and drive out to Queens.

Rent in and around Manhattan is horrible... double or more what one would pay for better space in Eugene.

My son lived in Long Island. and his two bedroom apt was over well $3000 a month.

Not exactly cash strapped student friendly pricing.

That's what on-campus housing is for, even though a lot of people don't like it.
