"A Norcross High School student was charged with bringing a firearm onto school property when he allegedly brought a realistic-looking pellet gun to football practice last week."

"Receiver Tyrece Gaines had already dealt with administrators and football coaches about several angry outbursts and disruptions when he again 'lost his temper' and became combative at school on Thursday, according to a school police report. Most of the issues involved his on-again, off-again relationship with his girlfriend, whom he had been dating for several months."

I personally don't care about these charges. We all did some dumb stuff over girls, especially at that 17-18 year old range. I just think that this may be the issue he is clearing up with the NCAA.

Yeah pretty obvious. Like I said, I'm not bothered by the charges, I just think this is the issue he's having to clear with the NCAA. Did you even read my post?

Unless there is a new NCAA rule this isn't the issue. The NCAA could care less about legal issues unless it involves an agent & professional status.

I never brought a Gun to school because of girl issues, that's pretty STUPID!!!

I did a lot of other stupid things because of girls that were probably even more risky, usually involving alcohol.

However, bringing a GUN to school implies an 'INTENT' to do harm, which is much worse than doing something stupid that might unintentionally do harm.

Make sense?

Girlfriends are expensive. I don't know how you can afford one in high school.

Yeah I honestly have no idea at this point. I just saw this on some other boards & thought it may be the problem.

No, it does not imply "intent," but enjoy debating the level of stupid that applies to your actions.
