MFRDUCKFAN wrote a post on 2009 sleepers. Oracle made some great posts about not wanting to use any 2009 class members.

The real question is who from the 2008 class will be the ones to step up this year? (Besides Harper, Masoli, and Blount)

My picks for who will be household names for us next year are Boyett will be the next Chad Cota for us at saftey. LaMichael James will fill a need at running back. Look for Hamani Stevens on the new rebuilt offensive line. Dewitt Stuckey will be a beast for us at LB. And I have a feeling Blake Cantu will be a nice possession/blocking receiver for us.

The sad thing is that other than James, I don't see anybody that I think will be a starter. Not counting guys who have played, Harper, Masoli, Blount...

Stevens and Cody are a couple guys who could be starters but we have a lot of young depth on the O-line.

So I'd say probably, James, Cody and Stevens.

Man, that was a great class and most of them ended up redshirting and probably won't be starters this year either.

The problem with Jordan is that he's been moved to TE and we have a s***-ton of depth there.

I sure wish he had whatever he needed to stay at WR. We have a bigger need there.

I've heard conflicting reports on where Jordan will play. I think we need Mops on this one.

A lot of things will happen from now till a game is played. Jordan will be used where he is most needed (WR!), I'm not too worried.

We actually have a lot of depth and talent at both WR and TE now. I have heard from people definitely in the know that Jordan will be at TE. We also might be seeing more 2 TE sets next year and more of a power game with Ward, Dickson and Blount as our main offensive weapons

Move Harper to RB ( with a little QB,WR, special teams action as well )!!

I've seen him up close. He is too slight in build to be a blocking TE. They may set him in that position but as a receiver or down field blocker. DEs will push him around.

IMO, Jordan will be a WR. I've watched tape on the kid, and he is a fluid athlete with good leaping ability. He is cross between Jwill and Malachi, and I really feel Malachi could play WR as well. Especially with Dickson, Ward, and Lewis...I really don't think moving Jordan to #4 TE is a good use of talent.

No one can tell me that WR/TE is a weak area or that we don't options...Plus I didn't even go into the possibilities of DT lining up as WR/QB...CK can go into the lab with endless ingredients and come up with something explosive for the next 3-4yrs
