It seems as if we won't be hearing from Dunigan himself anytime soon as he has hired a lawyer to speak for him and his family. One quote that seems to be the most damning against him is that he said he had no other option than to turn pro. If he was innocent of the charges, then he would still have been able to play at Oregon. This makes me think he is guilty of something.

I just want to know who the other player was. For the life of my I can't think of any reason anyone would want to give anything of value to any other player on the roster over the past two years. I've heard rumors that it was Crittle, but that's just bonkers.

I can't think of anyone that would warrant getting contacted by sports agents if you look at the body of work over the last 2 years. The only ones that really stood out last year were Jacob and Armstead, but they aren't part of the investigation. If it was anyone on last year's team, I would suspect Dunigan and both of the other Chicago-area sophomores since they seemed to be the closest on the team and would probably be more likely to enter some sort of pact or agreement together.

This whole situation is ludicrous, especially given the performance of this team over the last 2 seasons... Surely, we aren't discussing point shaving?

That could explain some of the late game collapses, though.

I'm thinking it stems back to AAU ball?...maybe him and Humphrey?
