Huge bummer. If he's out for a full 6 weeks he could miss up to 8 non-conference games.

And the hit's just keep coming. Altman is being tested that's
for sure. If he can get the ship righted, and moving the right direction
then my hat's off to him.

If he's out the full six weeks he'd miss eight non-conference games. We've got a full two months before Pac-10 play starts.

That sucks, although he should be back for conference play. The article says 3-6 weeks.

Haha wow, thanks for the corrections guys. I didn't get much sleep last night.

Even if he's back in 6 weeks, he would still have to get into playing shape again so he might as well be out another week or two. This will set back this team that is already behind the curve on a lot of things. This year's team just have to hold out long enough for reinforcements to arrive next season.

Definitely disappointing. Jacob is my favorite player on the team. I've met him a few times and he's a great guy. Good student too.

I would hope that we would win against teams like Denver and UCSB, even without Jacob, but you never know. We have had some bad losses over the past few seasons (Oakland).

This season will be a transition year. I don't think many people have very high expectations. I'm just hoping to see the team play hard. 2011 is going to be a very exciting season.
