Jay-R Strowbridge, a senior transfer, is the latest Duck lost to an injury.

He suffered both a broken nose and a dislocated right thumb when Oregon scrimmaged against Nevada on Friday. Strowbridge is definitely out for Friday's exhibition game against Northwest Christian University. UO coach Dana Altman said there is a possibility Strowbridge could play the following weekend when Oregon plays three counting games in three days.

I am not as worried about Stowbridge as I am about Jacobs, but every
non-conference game these guys miss, seems like rescheduling a
vital blood test!!

This team just cannot catch a break on the injury front. We're lucky that it occurred before any counting games start and it isn't too serious.
